Weather aspects- 4th grade Science

Standards-UEN-science grade 4 standard 2-Students will understand that the elements of weather can be observed, measured, and recorded to make predictions and determine simple weather patterns.

Ed. Tech- Grade 3-5 standard 5-Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom

Facts about snow

Snow is a wonderful part of weather that effects us all. we love to play in it and create with it, but we usually don't know how it starts or why it comes every year.It makes the world quiet and peaceful and lets animals and plants rest for a season before they return in the spring.

Phases of the moon- 6th grade Science

Phases of the moon

Standards-uen science 6th grade standard 1-Students will understand that the appearance of the moon changes in a predictable cycle as it orbits Earth and as Earth rotates on its axis.

Ed. Tech- grades 3-5 standard 8-Use technology resources (e.g., calculators, data collection probes, videos, educational software) for problem-solving, self-directed learning, and extended learning activities

Our view of the moon changes throughout the month. There are different types of moons that can happen throughout the year. Amazing things can happen with the moon, including eclipses. Certain holidays are calculated according to the moon, like Easter! Each phase is related to a certain word or phrase: new moon= new beginnings/fresh start, crescent moon= hopes/wishes, first quarter= challenges/ action, gibbous moon= adjust/ edit, full moon= sealed and stamped, waning gibbous/ disseminating moon= gratitude/sharing, last quarter/waning crescent= release/let go, balsamic/ waxing crescent moon= surrender/rest.
