Many things happened since the 13 colonies left British rule and created the Constitution we have today. The Bill of Rights was not a part of the original constitution but added later and even after that amendments were added one at a time when they were needed to help keep the peace. This timeline goes over the important dates and people involved with the constitution and bill of rights. The Constitution is very important and helped form the world we have today, though it is being ignored by the people who should be protecting it.
