Stress can cause big problems in our daily lives and effect our mental health. in this newsletter are strategies to relieve stress and improve mental health. Stress can be a big burden on people and these strategies can help relieve it and make you feel happier and less tires/angry all of the time. Mental health effects everything in our body. If we lack in one area our minds are effected as well.Be sure to manage your time wisely and not to overextend yourself by trying to do too many things at once.

Ed. Tech-grade 2 standard 1 objective 3- Develop and use skills to communicate ideas, information, and feelings. 

 Being able to find things on maps and globes is very helpful for planning trips and knowing where you are, where you want to be and where you are going. Being able to read maps can also help you put events current and past into perspective and see how close or far from your home they took place.

Standards- reading grade 1 standard 3- describe characters, settings, and major events in a story, using key details. 

Ed. Tech- grade 1 standard 1 objective 3- develop and use skills to communicate ideas, information, and feelings.

This poster will help students know how to find the important information out of a book-characters, setting, etc. being able to pick out the important aspects in a story is something we use all of our lives, through school and beyond. Picking out things like characters and setting can help us to understand the story better than if we just read it straight through. These can also build into questions and make us think more critically.

Standards- math grade k G.A.- identify and describe shapes (squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, hexagons, cubes, cones, cylinders, and spheres).

Being able to name and draw shapes will help students throughout life because then they can start to notice these shapes in their everyday life and see what different shapes can build. Shapes make up everything around us from buildings to the streets and cities. Shapes are the fundamental building blocks for everything from architecture to science.

All elementary schools usually have a book fair at some point during the year and need new ways of advertising it to everyone. Here I what I came up with. Book fairs are held to let children and their families find old and new favorite books and to help the school raise money to buy new books for the students.

Pinterest is a great way to find new and fun ideas to teach different subject. Students will be able to understand what each note looks like when written on a music staff and what all of the different terms mean. Music is a way of expressing yourself and what ever your feeling and is a great way to manage stress and extreme emotions. You can play from personal experiences or even make up your own music. Music helps you have fun and is a creative way to help yourself feel better if you are down or mad.

These days now more than ever its important to keep our children healthy and active. These days they are glued to their electronic screens. These simple steps can help us as well as our children stay happy and healthy. Being healthy is a lifelong goal and process. You have to be aware of what you do everyday and what you put into your body and whether it is helping you or hurting your body.

Students will be able to name and tell the meaning of each place before and after the decimal. This will help them in the future because they will know more about how to deal with decimals and add and subtract them. Decimals are important in life even if we don't really realize it or ignore them. decimals and knowing how to add/subtract them are anywhere and everywhere things are sold, even in our own homes if you are trying to price out something like a party and need to stay in a budget.

Many things happened since the 13 colonies left British rule and created the Constitution we have today. The Bill of Rights was not a part of the original constitution but added later and even after that amendments were added one at a time when they were needed to help keep the peace. This timeline goes over the important dates and people involved with the constitution and bill of rights. The Constitution is very important and helped form the world we have today, though it is being ignored by the people who should be protecting it.

Facts about snow


Snow is a wonderful part of weather that effects us all. we love to play in it and create with it, but we usually don't know how it starts or why it comes every year.It makes the world quiet and peaceful and lets animals and plants rest for a season before they return in the spring.




Rainbows

Fun, colorful objects in the sky. Here's why we can see them and sometimes more than one at a time! Rainbows are always fun to draw and imagine what's at the end of it. Rainbows show all the colors in the spectrum.




Clouds

There different types of clouds we see in the sky everyday. Some clouds mean rain and other bad weather, and  still others  mean nice weather. Reflected sunlight can change the colors in the clouds. clouds can look nice and fluffy or thin and wispy. 




Rain

Rain is essential for all life on Earth. It can be dangerous and create floods. It can also make beautiful things like rainbows after the rainstorm. Rain rejuvenates the Earth and gives everything life:plants, animals and humans. Rain is essential for life on Earth.

There are so many different types of animals that live in different kinds of environments. This mind map I made shows the different environments and some animals that live there.Animals are amazing creatures. They have adapted over time to adjust to their environment; like a giraffe's long neck. There are many, many types and species of animals around the world.

Phases of the moon- 6th grade Science

Phases of the moon



Standards-uen science 6th grade standard 1-Students will understand that the appearance of the moon changes in a predictable cycle as it orbits Earth and as Earth rotates on its axis. 

Ed. Tech- grades 3-5 standard 8-Use technology resources (e.g., calculators, data collection probes, videos, educational software) for problem-solving, self-directed learning, and extended learning activities

Our view of the moon changes throughout the month. There are different types of moons that can happen throughout the year. Amazing things can happen with the moon, including eclipses. Certain holidays are calculated according to the moon, like Easter! Each phase is related to a certain word or phrase: new moon= new beginnings/fresh start, crescent moon= hopes/wishes, first quarter= challenges/ action, gibbous moon= adjust/ edit, full moon= sealed and stamped, waning gibbous/ disseminating moon= gratitude/sharing, last quarter/waning crescent= release/let go, balsamic/ waxing crescent moon= surrender/rest.
